DOREEN FIRESTONE is an accomplished singer, actress, composer
and playwright, having performed regionally at the Paper Mill
Playhouse, as well as in the National Tour of THE SOUND OF
MUSIC and on cruise ships, in summer stock productions and in
cabaret performances on Restaurant Row in NYC. Operatically, she
has brought “Carmen” to life as the title character and she has graced
the recital stage.

As President of Firestone Productions, Doreen is active, not only as
actress and singer, but as playwright and composer of her own
theatrical pieces.  Doreen has created THE PRODIGAL DAUGHTER,
a dramatic musical experience of seeking mercy and forgiveness,
and has produced it both off-Broadway and on its ongoing tour
throughout the greater New York area.  Her comedic tour de force,
CAN’T A GIRL GET A BREAK, brings her larger than life character,
Sage Advice, to the stage to teach us how to “find true love and drop
kick the rest!”, while the presentation she created about St Katharine
Drexel’s legacy of ministering to the Black and Native American
Races aims to unite hearts with a confirmation of our common
humanity. And her one-woman musical tour-de-force FINDING
YOUR VOICE, finds the performer tracing her autobiographical
history of the of discovery of her true self, while through music,
humorous stories and deep insights about life, inviting her audience
to enter into their own journey towards seeking their true identity as
well.

2019 finds Doreen embarking on an incredible journey with Father
Tony Stanganelli, pastor of St Brigid Church, Westbury, NY, with the
two having been inspired to launch the mission, ALREADY HOME, to
provide experiences where all may come to recognize their true
identity as beloved children of a Father who desires our union with
Him and communion with others. The Mission kicks off with a
performance of ALREADY HOME and reflection by Father Tony
September 20, 2019 at St Brigid Church.
